All four musicians turn in great performances on the material which ranges from whimsical to thorny. The melodies are complicated but catchy; the music can be a little abstract with changing time signatures and such, but that just makes it more interesting with repeated listenings.Recommended to fans of Erik Freidlander, Tim Berne, and Dave Douglas."
