"He keeps amazing me. This record was his first complete Piano Solo effort. It is definitively one of my favorites (I have almost 20 of his albums). The melodies are moving and make you go into different moods, from tranquility to melancholy. One day you wake up and somehow one melody of this album is all around your head. It is hard to make a choice but listen to "Une Longue Absence" or "Retour en Arriere". In times when there are a LOT of piano players all over the place, the more you listen the more you realize that Andre Gagnon is really One of a Kind."
