CD Reviews

An incredibly complex mix of natural and musical sounds!
LQQK4BOB@HOTMAIL.COM | Baltimore, MD | 01/25/1999
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This masterpiece is one of those rare albums in it's genre which deserves a sit down and listen to intently. As background noise you are likely to find it busy and perhaps even irritating. Get a glass of wine, sit down, shut-up and LISTEN!! It is a wonderfully complex mix of natural sounds, especially our amphibious friends, along with a successful fusion of Eastern and Western musical genre. The flutists seems to speak with deep emotion and meaning. The sitarist draws you into a trancelike state with his beautifully weird bending of sound. The drummers rythms are primal, enthralling and ancient. Listen to the album more than once before you decide whether or not you like it. Enjoy!"
Innovative and relaxing

"I am pleased to see Amazon have this title. I have owned this title on vinyl for some time. This was so unique in that Ancient Future melded together the songs of nature with there compositions. The rhythmic pieces provokes ones' imagination. One of my all time favorites."
Natural rhythms do not have enough natural melody
Steven E. Blake | Saint Peters, Missouri USA | 11/30/2002
(3 out of 5 stars)

"Laid back instrumentals do establish a mood but only a few tracks (like Hummingbird) have enough melody to distinguish one track from the next."
