Album DescriptionFrom theashes of the lauded post-prog Chapel Hill band Analogue comes the debut of Analogue II . Bludgeoning, leaden rhythms with an odd penchant for quoting Dio in the rare vocal appearance. Analogue?s debut AAD (Sonic Bubblegum, 1996) was recently cited by Nude as the News as one of the top 100 albums of the 90?s. Rock Proper garnered tons of college airplay during it?s 2000 release. In 1999 Analogue remade themselves Analogue II, to continue their work in the p(rog/ost)-rock-ROCK aesthetic. Analogue II comprises Jennifer Greer (synths?n?bells), Matthew J. Westlake (strings?n?treatments), Heath Grant (drums?n?silence), and David Heller (strings?n?remainder). This past January the band traveled to Richmond, VA to record at the Sound of Music studio with Alan Weatherhead.
