"I don't know WHY people can't see why this album IS Ana's best. Puntos Cardinales and Pasaje De Un Sueno were good, yes. The self titled album released only in Spain and France was good, yes. However, Fragil, is, outstanding. How Ana could take mediocre material [Quien Dice is a cover of "I Really Don't Think So", a song from the TV show Popstars] or excellent work such as Wish You Were Here and create wonderful music out of it shows the talent of her voice and production team.Songs like 20 Mariposas, Fragil, Me Basta Con Creer, Cuatro Dias, Hoy Igual Que Ayer, y Con Solo Un Beso are BEAUTIFUL. Even the weaker tracks, LIBELULA, SOLO POR ESO, EL ARTE DE EL LLORAR are EXCELLENT.What I like is the upbeat feel in this album. Lots of songs on her old albums are kind of slow, almost too slow. This album is fresh, exciting, and so fun!Summer 2003 was great, with Ana's new release and La Oreja's third."
She's done it again!!

"Though the melodious voice of Ana is synonimous with the legendary group Mecano, she has proved that she can stand out on her own with her previous releases. In "Fragil", Ana does not disapoint, always delivering catchy, clever lyrics. As always her trademark voice is unmistakable. Songs such as "Quien dice", "Menos, Mas" and "Fragil" are typical independent Ana Torroja found throughout her solo career. But for the purists "Veinte Mariposas" and "Libelula" are reminicent of her days in Mecano. Such names as Jamiroquoi, Oasis, Saul of the succesful mexican group Jaguares and Deep Forest member Eric Mouquet contributed to make this cd a legacy for Ana, who has proven she is here to stay. The tracks in "Fragil" are perfect for those moments when one wants to be alone simply collectin his/hers toughts."
"Yes, this cd is pop, but a really good pop. Eric Mouquet (member of Deep Forest) is the brain behind this jewel. New sounds, good songs and lyrics, and the tender voice of Ana are the ingredients. In songs like Libelula, Fragil and Con solo un beso you can enjoy the mix up of tallents of Ana and Eric. They collaborated before in the song of Deep Forest "Media Luna", (of the cd Comparsa), and now in the 2003 version of the Deep Forest hit "Sweet lullaby". There are another suprises, like "Quien dice", the first single, "Me basta con creer", song edited in 2001 in France (in french), called "Mes prieres". "20 mariposas" remember us the age when Ana singed with Mecano. "Hoy igual que ayer" is a duet with the voice of the successful mexican rock group "Jaguares". And, the Pink Floyd cover "Wish you were here", really enjoyable version of this clasic."
Very disappointing

"It feels as though she has lost her energy, she has become a distant memory of what she used to be with Mecano. Still a sweet voice, the songs chosen for this CD are mediocre. Her first solo CD was good, this was is not. The music just doesn't click, the art in the sleeve doesn't click either, maybe she needs new composers, a different producer. The Pink Floyd track is regrettable, she should not sing in English, she can sing in Spanish and French but I would suggest her to refrain from doing it in English. Maybe the Cano brothers should compose her new material, maybe Mecano should make a comeback...."
Interesting, but not interesting enough. . .

"When I listen to this CD, I space out. After awhile, one track sounds like the next, i.e., there's no variety, energy, or passion in ANA TOROJA's voice. Her CD is like music that's playing in an elevator. You hear it, but you don't pay any attention. For me, there's nothing memorable on this CD except for ANA'S singing in English "I Wish You Were Here." It was a mistake for her to sing in English. I could barely understand what she was singing. I regret buying this CD. For solo female Latina singers, I would recommend ROSANA or SORAYA."
