"Alright, I'm going to come right out and say it. It's extremely unfortunate more people aren't aware of Amon Duul II. We're talking about one fantastic and creative early 70's rock band here, folks!

I realize artists like Frank Zappa, 10cc, and the Beatles are more popular examples of creative artists, but why oh why Amon Duul II continues to be ignored here in North America the way they have without SOMEONE coming along and mentioning them in a way to make people more aware of them... hard to believe.

The music of Utopia is just an unbelievable amount of creative ideas. I can't say it any other way! One moment I think I'm hearing a Jefferson Starship-like vocal melody, the next I get the feeling this band influenced the early 80's period of Blue Oyster Cult, and then I hear some amazing grooves that totally rock my world, along with these dark and eerie jazzy instrumental jams that just flat out amaze me every single time. The band can be entertaining for just about anyone. This is what rock and roll is all about- creativity, and in this case, creativity to the EXTREME. Buy it now. NO WAY Amon Duul II should be ignored the way they been so far.

And no, I'm not some insane fanboy who can't control his excitement. Just listen to something from Amon Duul II, whether it's Utopia, Wolf City, or Yeti. Make it SOMETHING.

Oh, and "Jazz-Kiste" is the greatest instrumental of all-time. 5 minutes of dark, evil-sounding jazzy brilliance."
