"this is a most excellent Solo Oud CD !!! along with his other solo CD,"Eastern Strings", these recordings have a great feel to the playing &, without all the usual percussion or other instruments, allows the listener to appreciate the instrument in a way similar to listening to classical guitar... this is one of my favorite CDs !!!"

For anyone that loves the oud, this is a must!

"I knew very little about Amer Ammouri except for what I had read about him online. he seemed to be highly regarded and I thought why not order a CD and see if he lives up to what has been written about him.

All I have to say is WOW!!! His playing is incredible, traditional, energetic, precise and above all else he is a virtuoso! I have ordered other works by him and look forward to hearing them as well! If you are a fan of great players like Udi Hrant, el Attrache, then you have to listen to Amer Ammouri. This was a well recorded top quality CD and I can only say that you will not be disappointed!"
