Synopsis
Album Description Amber Claire is first & foremost a singer with a stunning, ethereal voice, & amazing range. The blueprint for the album was simple - take beautiful songs with broad appeal, produce them to the highest standard & let Amber's voice do the rest. The first single "Love Remains" was written by Larry Klein (a world class songwriter, musician & producer best known for his musical partnership with Joni Mitchell), produced by Simon Holloway & beautifully sung by Amber. The second single "At Seventeen", written by Grammy award winning Janis Ian, was a hit for Ian in the 70's selling more than a million copies. Sony. 2004. Similar CDs

CD ReviewsA Kiwi Gem! mixed-berry | USA | 09/27/2008 (4 out of 5 stars) "Track listing:
Close The Door At Seventeen Here It Comes Again Sailing Souvenir Broken Love Remains Tending The Happiness Tree What You Do With What You've Got Song To The Siren These Days A great little album. Beautiful covers including Christopher Cross' "Sailing". If you want an album to chill out to this is a great choice. Her voice is much more mature and nuanced then your average young pop star. If you can find it, Amber's other CD "Great Escape" is worth checking out as well. The title track, an original composition, is the jewel of the album. I discovered it listening to a New Zealand radio station on the internet. Also lovely is her cover of Stephen Bishop's "On And On"." |
