"Flawless double album - a feat rarely accomplished by anyone who attempts to put so many songs together in one release. CD 1 has more electric energy and faster tempos, CD 2 is no less energetic but more subtle and introspective. Found out about Amaral after learning that Bob Dylan in 2007-2008 picked them to do a Spanish cover of his anthem "Hard Rain's Gonna Fall.""
Great Spanish Band

"Fantastic album by a very popular band in Spain (from Zaragoza.) Great music. Diverse sounds within this 2-disc set. I have heard people compare them to another well-known Spanish band called Oreja de Van Gogh however I find OVG too poppy. I think Amaral has a much more interesting sound. Highly recommended."

"This album is very, very good. The songs are well written, arranged and produced, and the band pulls off a 19-song double CD without a trace of repetitiveness.
Eva Amaral's voice, one of my two all-time favorite female pop voices, is, incredibly, better than before. Her tone is richer and her melodies sweeter. Her use of two different voices on the final song, Concorde, is a sublime artistic touch that actually becomes more impactful upon repeated listening.
One final comment on the lyrics: Although I don't know whether Eva Amaral or Juan Aguirre share lyric-writing jointly, switch off, or whether one person does most of the writing most of the time, I do know that the quality of the lyrics is extremely good, at times pure poetry, and very near in quality to the best lyricists of whom I'm aware - accessible, subtle, layered and leaving the listener thinking about the song after it's finished."
Best Amaral Album Yet

"I'm a huge fan of Amaral and I have all 5 of their albums. Like another reviewer said, it is very difficult to put together a double album that is consistent and successful. I honestly can't find a filler track on this album, every song is fantastic. On a scale of 1-10, there are maybe 2 songs that are 7s, the rest are all 8+. Best Rock en Espanol album I've heard in quite some time. Best tracks I feel are "La Barrera del Sonido", "Kamikaze", "Blues de la Generacion Perdida", and "Rock&Roll". If you get one Spanish-language album this year, get this one. Phenomenal."

"I've been a fan of Amaral since I first heard a couple of their songs in Spain a few years ago. I was impressed by their thoughtful lyrics and melodies that stay in your head. This album doesn't disappoint. All 19 songs are great and each is unique, not just a variation on a theme. They range from the upbeat and catchy "Kamikaze" and "Es Solo una Cancion" to the slower and heartfelt "Rock & Roll" and "De Carne y Hueso". The track "Dragon Rojo" is beautiful but actually has no lyrics. Altogether an interesting and worthwhile album."
