Metamorphosis means transformation, a changing from one form or mode of life to another. Just as a caterpillar transforms into a beautiful butterfly, or the seed from a rose falls to the ground only to be transformed into a vine of bright new roses, we also transform throughout our lives. We are born, we live and we die. But our destiny is to rise again, transformed, transfigured and to be filled with all the joy, the light and the love of a new life, a new creation and an eternal peace and endless growth in the Kingdom of God. This album of original piano music is a reflection upon this great theme of transformation and the wonderful, mysterious, and all-encompassing cosmic process of death and resurrection.
