"This electronic music is a lot like Terry Riley, & any fans of Terry Riley & other minimalist & contemporary compsers should like this album. The music is ambient, but dynamic, & interesting. There are so many different elements to it that all come together in crazy ways! The first time I listened to this CD I thought it reminded me of a bunch of different things -- eclectic world traditions & recent western classical music & new vision -- but this music ends up so unique in so many ways that my comment was, "This reminds me of...music.""

"I think this is a great album. "This lush musical landscape, Alvin Curran's first multi-media solo work, intertwines singing and synthesizer, drones and overtones, bells, gamelans, and sounds of nature--a unique tapestry of sound that eloquently introduces a fanciful and original American composer."-from the back cover of the CD."
