"I still remember back in High School, when I bought the Fillmore concerts on vinyl.

I listened to them over and over. Now we have another recording of the Allman Brothers from pretty much the same time period.

I like to listen to different recordings of artists, and hear the different guitar solos. Being a guitar player myself I focus in on what the guitarist is doing.

Duane Allman is as good if not better than any blues guitarist who has ever walked on stage.

The beauty of these recordings is that they seem raw in comparison to the Fillmore concerts. In some ways I actually prefer these versions over the Fillmore concerts.

The sound is very good and even crisper. You can hear the guitars and other instruments clearer.

This is a must for any Allman Brothers fan or any fan of Duane Allman, or great guitar music in general. You can't go wrong with the Allman Brothers.

My biggest regret is; What would Duane Allman or Jimi Hendrix be doing if they were alive today. We will never know but at least we have these wonderful concerts to enjoy time and time again............."

"Very impressed with the quality of this concert.

If you are a fan of the Allman Brothers Band - and want to listen to what all the hype was about, then any quality live recording of Duane, Dickie, Berry, Greg, Butch and Jaimoe has to be in your library. Of course, Fillmore East is easily the first one, and then the live recordings on Eat a Peach, but after that you are scrounging for quality original brothers music.

Well, look no more. Johnny Winter does a great vocal on Hootchie Cootchie Man (no, it can not be Berry Oakley, it is definitely JW) and the live versions of the famous ABB songs are all played to great effect.

Duane and Dickie were definitely 'on' these nights (mornings).

BTW - I used the MP3 download facility and it worked flawless on my Mac."

"This is a really good album featuring The Allman Bros. Band best linup. Excellent Singing and organ playing from Greg, and very inspired guitar and slide playing from his brother Duane. All around excellent performances from everyone in the band."
