"I first heard Alix when I was 21 years old, in college. I love her haunting lyrical voice, her witty & playful songs, her jaunty catchy guitar playing and the themes that she invokes about female empowerment, lesbian love and the general search for love & respect.

This particular album is a live recording of her performance at a festival in Australia and hearing the audience cheer and laugh with Alix just makes listening to her sing all the more precious, because you hear the community that Alix is singing about. Thank you for this CD. Alix isn't in stores. You guys rock!!!!!!!"
