"There are 4 different releases of "Unplugged" By Alicia Keys : 1. CD 2. DVD. 3. LP Record (Same tracks as cd) and this one 4 : CD/DVD combo digipack. This is the real money saver here. This version contains the dvd concert and the CD together. The CD and DVD both contain a bonus performance that you will not get if you purchase them seperate. It features and Sony CD includes SunnComm MediaMax Version 5 content protection software that may expose security vulnerability when played on PCs just like several other SONY BMG titles. What that does is limit cd-r and MP3 Player trnasfers. it will allow you to copy the cd one or two times and then when you attempt to copy again, you'll get a screwed-up file. the file will sound like it's a vinyl record being DJ'd but without the scratching sounds. I'm against Music piracy but also against copy protection. I believe once you purchase the cd, you own the rights to the copy you have purchased and you should be able to do whatever you want to with it. this is a great buy but it should get a re-release without the content protection"

"Another Great album by Alicia Keys. I've seen her live twice before and its great to finally take a piece of that home! This album is mostly older songs just reworked for a different feel and a few new ones too. I love that this was on sale at Circuit City and Target for about 18$ !!! Once again I can only say this album is great and a must have!"
Almost perfection... The DVD is more of a one time viewing e

"Some artists sound great in the studio, but when it comes to performing live, it's a different story. Alicia Keys is not one of these artists. She is the real deal, the full package. And we've known this since day one.
She strips down her songs, like "Karma" and "You Don't Know My Name", down to the roots on this album. The result is beautiful. The instrumentation is amazing and the backgorund vocalists are great too. And Alicia's keys and vocals sound maybe even better than they do on the record!
She remakes two songs, "Every Little Bit Hurts" and "Wild Horses", which is the only flaw on this album. The track is not good to begin with, and Alicia and Adam Levine from Maroon 5 do not blend well together. She also has two new songs on this collection. "Unbreakable", the lead single, has a wonderfully old school vibe and it is a fantastic song. And "Streets of New York." It was recorded as a studio version with Nas and Rakim, but wasn't included on her last album. Instead she did it live on Unplugged, and the resulting sound is much better. It will send chills up your spine and the lyrics are just beautiful.
This live performance creates such an intimate and close experience that you feel like you're right there. The stripped down versions of these songs are just as good, if not better as the studio versions and her voice is pure gold.
This album brings back memories of when you didn't had one hit wonders who couldn't sing. But instead, you would have artists that have staying power for years to come.
But when it come to the DVD... This live concert is more of the type of thing you watch once or twice. Don't get me wrong, the music is superb and Alicia Keys is excellent, but the visuals are not really all too exciting. Or at least not good enough to buy this DVD. And it doesn't have any exciting special features to offer, so I would just suggest to buy the regular edition of this CD.

"Alicia looks and sounds great on this CD/DVD combo! It's a nice mix of songs from her 2 previous albums as well as some new ones. The DVD also has some behind the scenes footage and bonus performances of Goodbye and Butterflyz. If your an Alicia Keys fan this is something you must have!"
