"Alfred Brendel's wonderful playing of these two concertos shows a complete mastery of Mozart. Brendel plays with such grace, delicate touch and refined tone. He puts so much thought in every note that he plays. He is complemented well by Antonio Janigro. The Andantino in K271 is so moving and the tempo is just perfect! I have another version played by Jeno Jando where he plays the Andantino way too fast! I also liked this version by Brendel w/ Janigro much more than Brendel's re-endition of the same piece with Marriner and ASMF on the Philips label.
I also love Brendel's interpretation of Concerto #14 (K449).
I can't find a better recording of these two concertos, which are among my favorites of Mozart. If you are a fan of these pieces and especially of Mozart's Piano Concertos, don't pass this CD up. I'm sure you'll love this CD as much as I do."
