"Not only does Alexandra have a clear and beautiful voice, she creates lyrics that are very thoughtfully appealing to kids and to the kid still alive in all of us. She captures feelings from the child's point of view in a real-life way, as in I'm Not Shy and Crankymomma. In Red Dot Daddy and Two Homes, divorce and dividing time between parents is portrayed in a way that is very comforting and normalizing for kids. Tidal Wave is hauntingly memorable -- the kind of song you hum even when your kids aren't in the car! Kudos for creating a wonderful kids album that appeals to both head and heart."

"This album is as much for our children as it is for us parents. Alexandra weaves together the gems of our everyday experiences with our children, creating songs that tug at our heart strings, make us toss our heads in the air with laughter and drop our chins with tears. The song Tidal Wave has given me the strength to love my children through their tough moments and in kind, love myself through my own difficult times. I am reminded each time through of the gift Alexandra is giving to all families of divorce in her song Two Homes - taking on and normalizing the separation so many families today face. It has been of great solace to my children's friends whose parents are divorced. Fun, inspirational, engaging and creative on many levels. A MUST BUY!
