"This album came out in 1992 and it was the perfect album at the time. It still is perfect, but back when it came out these songs were rare. At that time we had La Cocoband and Rokabanda ruling the airwaves in the Dominican Republic and in NYC. People had forgotten about the Lost Son of D.R. Then Alex makes his comeback with this production filled with these songs that have so much feeling. The title of the album says it all. "Ternuras" that's what this album has. The lyrics are so wonderful and Alex does such a good job with his sweet voice. I still remember how everybody just really got hooked on this album and really took time to relax while listening to this album. Cocoband and Rokabanda still rocked the parties, but when it was time to get confortable with your girl or just relax and listen to good music, this album did the job. Most of the songs are about lost loves or amarguras, but that is the beauty of this album. We got to listen to Alex and feel him like if it's really happening to us. This album is a great buy. I still love this album cause it takes me back to those days when it came out. You should pick this one up and the rest of his work because it just gets better."
