The best electric Albion Band album

"This is a terrifically fun, electric, rock-and-roll album. More aggressively rock than any other Albion album, it's very well-executed, with Ashley Hutching's prominent bass playing matched by great work on electric and acoustic guitars, piano, and drums. "Ash On an Old Man's Sleeve" is brilliant, as is their version of "Seven Curses". This is my favorite of the Albion Band albums (I and my friends listened obsessively to it in college shortly after it was released), but it's more aggressive than any other album of theirs I've heard, and more rock than even any of Ashley's stints with Steeleye Span. At an extreme of their range - but frankly, and extreme I wish they'd revisit."
