"Varese takes a step back into the days of Herrmann & Hitchcock with James Mangold's "Identity", as ten strangers are brought together during a sudden rainstorm in non other than a rundown motel (sound familiar?) ~ with a score that blends brooding and startling cues that will make you leap from your seat.From the pen of Alan Silvestri every nerve in your body will be alive from various cues "LOU IS DEAD" (striking strings similar to the film Psycho), "NO SECOND CHANCE", "SETTLING IN" and "ORANGE GROVE/WHAT HAVE YOU DONE" amplify the tenseness that was needed in this film and Silvestri's score delivers right on cue and then some!Total Time: 32:12 on 13 Tracks ~ Varese 302-066-459-2 ~ (4/15/2003)"
