Don't Buy This Disc From Amazon!

"I received this product from Amazon after reading about it on Alan Howarth's Web site, and while I am in heaven listening to Disc 1, I must caveat the emptor that Disc 1 is ALL YOU GET when you buy the CD (well, technically, CD-R) from Amazon. Even though the page header describes it as "the COMPLETE Prince of Darkness ORIGINAL soundtrack," and the inside of the front jewel case sleeve and the back of the jewel case sleeve BOTH list "Disc 1/Tracks 1-14" and "Disc 2/Tracks 1-14," and the MP3 link on Amazon's page includes all 28 tracks, THE CD PRODUCT YOU GET WHEN BUYING THIS FROM AMAZON ONLY INCLUDES DISC 1 WITH ITS 14 TRACKS! If you want the ACTUAL "complete" soundtrack on disc, you will have to order it somewhere else. After ordering this for my birthday, thinking Amazon screwed up my order when I opened it, and getting the replacement CD only to discover that Disc 1 really is all you get, I finally broke down and bought what you're SUPPOSED to be getting from Alan Howarth's site for over three times the amount.
I will provide a more thorough review of the actual content of this product as soon as I can, but for now thought it prudent and useful to warn potential buyers against the misleading product description. In honour of full disclosure, the Amazon customer rep I spoke to was extremely nice, helpful, and understanding, and I did get a refund and a promise that she would alert the Web staff to the issues with the page and query why, if all 28 tracks are owned and offered by Amazon, the disc version does not also include all 28 tracks, but until any of these situations are remedied, the potential for misleading customers is still large. Just wanted to help anyone else as interested in John Carpenter soundtracks as I am to avoid the frustration and disappointment I felt with this whole process. I am giving four stars to the soundtrack, but if I could rate the purchase separately, it would get 1/2 star."
