"I'm very confused about this product. You can get the two disc version of this (this exact disc PLUS a 19 track "rare" collection) for currently $23 on Amazon. Or you can by this one disc version for currently $76?

The hell, man.

Al Kooper Mega talent

"Discovering or rediscovering Al Kooper is just cool fun. How did one Kat create all that music?. He should be credited for adding full horn sections (with a Jazz/Blues feeling) to rock music. Borrowing from his R&B, gospel background-(seems his mama and papa raised him on Bessie Smith and Gospel music) Al realized his dream of forming an electric rock band that would use horns as much as guitars. That dream translated into Blood, Sweat and Tears. Whose second album was a mega rock fusion hitalbum entitled "Blood Sweat and Tears" blazing horn section and all. They set the stage for others groups to follow and they did. Their debut album "Child is Father to Man" with Al handling Lead vocals had a second life and went Gold. Listen to the songs "Something Going On"and "I Love You More Than Yo Will Ever Know" (awesome!) This is the guy-Brooklyn Soul Brother (Al Kooper) Legend has it, he fudged his way into a studio recording for the now famous Dylan tune "Like a Rolling Stone" Yup that's Al on the B3 Organ, which ended up being the signature instrument on Bob's signature song. Want more? He authored "This Diamond Ring" a hit for Gary Lewis and the Playboys. He's recorded Gospel, had a hand in discovering Lynard Skynyrd, the Zombies and the Blue Project you might remember "Flute Thing" Tired of the routine, Check out this powerful and eclectic album..come on and get with it, man!"
