"After about the 15th comparison to AC/DC, I decided I had to check out this band so I browsed their Myspace page and listened to some tracks. I was blown away by the energy. I picked it up on release day and flipped it into the CD player as soon as I climbed into my truck. Within minutes I had the volume blasting, rattling the windows, and could see myself in the bar raising a pint to these guys on stage. INCREDIBLE!
As incredible as the album is, there's nothing special here....no great guitar riffs, no exotic vocals. Just a kick a** band that likes its rock and roll loud and without compromise. Whereas AC/DC is a little more complex in their song structure (and Angus is way beyond this band in the lead guitar category), these guys settle for the simple in your face approach. The vocals are quite AC/DCish, and remind me a bit of the naughtiness of Bon Scott. The vocalist has a decent sound, nothing like Scott's devilish purr or Brian Johnson's growl, but his sound fits the songs well.
There will be no essays about the complexity of the songs, the in depth meaning of the lyrics....but there will be some good times across the USA in small venues as these guys tear a path across the States. Mates, welcome to the USA, and if you don't come to Albuquerque I'll completely rescind this glowing review and send you all straight to hell :-)"
I'm definitely gonna stand up for rock 'n' roll!

"If you want great rock 'n' roll - loud, hard and fast with great guitar work, sing-a-long choruses and heavy drum beats, Airbourne's "Runnin' Wild" is sure to satisfy. From the epic opening of "Stand Up For Rock 'n' Roll", to the catchy choruses of "Diamond in the Rough" or "Cheap Wine and Cheaper Women", to the flat-out rock energy of these songs, this is a great album. I'd personally prefer the guitar solos to be a bit longer, since I like playing/ listening to longer, more indulgent solos, but whatever. THIS ALBUM ROCKS! If you want an old-school rock treat, you're gonna dig this. Thanks for the time, and peace."

"God, this is great music. I just got it an hour or so ago and have already played through it once, so I don't have an in depth review, but God Almighty does this kick a** in the royal tradition of the best of AC/DC. I think after I've played it 10 times I'll still think it is better than any AC/DC since Back in Black. I think even my 49 year old wife was diggin' it. Rejoice! I want more of this now. ROCK!"
GET IT!!! YOU WON'T REGRET IT

"I bought this album think I would like a few songs and then would try to justify the $11.99 price for those songs. But when I popped this CD in, it stayed in. This album rocks from start to finish and all you want is to play it again. I can't say when the last time I heard an album the rocked the whole way through. The energy is extremely high and you feel like you can bench press a freakin car after you've just listened to it. This is a band truly dedicated to the meaning of Rock, nothing soft on this album, only for those who truly want to rock."
AIRBOURNE - Incredible! Talented! Awesome music!

"Awesome band! Awesome music! The next great "hair band" is here. The first time I heard their music on the radio I was blown away. The first radio station in America to play Airbourne's music was 98 Rock in Baltimore.
Airbourne has a great heavy metal, high energy sound. Think of it like Jackyl singing AC/DC music. They definitely sound a bit like AC/DC....BUT make no mistake about it, they have a sound of their own that's incredible. A sound that will make them the next great hard rock band.
I bought the CD as soon as it was available in America at the end of January, 2008. One of the best CD's I ever bought, there's not a bad song on the album. The song 'Diamond in the rough' kicks A**. I went to see them live at the Recher Theater in Towson, Md. Outrageously incredible show, they rocked. They sound fantastic live and the energy they bring is second to none. You could tell from the beginning (of the show) these guys are for real, they aren't wanna bees, they aren't fake. I was literally 20 feet from the stage and you could see the expressions on the band members faces, you could see the 'heart' and determination they bring to their music. I consider myself blessed to have seen these guys up close and in person at the Recher 'cause in a couple years it will be hard to get tickets when they are playing in front of large crowds.
