I've been an Air Formation fan for years. I've never been disappointed by anything they have released and it has always seemed that each new disc was better than the one before it. Along comes Nothing to Wish For (Nothing to Lose). I don't even know where to begin. This is an amazing recording. Listening to this it is hard to believe that the band is not more well known. This disc has all the beauty, atmosphere and heartbreak of say The Cure's Disintegration or Ride's Nowhere but has an identity all it's own. If you haven't heard the band before this would be a great place to start. If you are a long time fan this release takes the bands trademark sound and sees it evolve and find new ways to comfort ears desperate for good listening in a time where so much music sounds the same. I can't recommend this enough. From start to finish a perfect listen. It's a rare thing finding a cd I can listen to in it's entirety and not find a song or two I could live without - Nothing to Wish for (nothing to Lose) is one of those rare finds. Give it a listen, you'll be glad you did."
