Agustín's break-out album, first released in 1971, was a big success and now is a vintage rarity. He does not play the guitar, he just feel it as another part of his body. And that's what Vinicius de Moraes wrote in a letter: "It gives me the impression that if he would be taken the guitar away, they would be cuting his arm off".
The melodies are smooth, and the voice of Elena Uriburu fits perfectly for the ambient that is created in each song. You can breath bossa nova as he plays, and you are swept away to another time and another place. Agustín shows his hability on playing guitar in "Canto de Ossanha", the afro-samba originally composed by Baden Powell and Vinicius de Moraes. You'll love it." |
