"Ok, I'm not much a fan of Black Metal as a whole, but Blacken The Angel is one of the most cherrished CDs in my collection. Needless to say I was quite thrilled to hear Agathodaimon was putting out a new album, and promptly snatched it up at first sight. Well, my thrill quickly subsided into a confuzzled "What the..." upon listening to the album. Not to say that the material itself isn't good, or that the addition of a clean vocalist wasn't a pleasant surprise, but the album production is ABYSMAL. Not raw, not "fashionably unpolished" bloody ABYSMAL. You'd think a bands 2nd release would sound better than their demo for crying out loud. It doesn't end there, however, perhaps it's just the ABYSMAL (that's the key word today) production, but it seems to me that the band is totally out of sync with their performance. At any rate, it's not terrible, but definitly a let down compared to Blacken The Angel."
