"I have been waiting for a sequel to their first recording together and am even more impressed by this CD than their first. Rossano Sportiello is simply an amazing pianist, the best I have ever heard, and Nicki Parrott is as good a bassist as can be found. Her playing reminds me a lot of the late Milt Hinton. Her vocals are just an added attraction; if she didn't sing the CD would still be a great recording. I have been fortunate enough to hear them live at the West Texas Jazz Society jazz party the last two years and can only hope to hear them again. I recommend this CD to anyone who appreciates superb traditional jazz. To use the French expression, " C'est magnifique.""
