"Well , I know that you american guys sometime think of italian bands not comparable to british or american ones, but Afterhours they do deserve your attention.
They rank as a band but the real ace is Manuel Agnelli,singer/songwriter and guitar player
The band was formed in the early nineties and has attained a cult following, solid base of fans in Italy
Sadly for non italian speaker, lyrics are in italian so I do not know what english-speaker will understand
But also this did not stop ME to love so many american and english bands
"Are you afraid of the dark", the title of the album, for a truly masterpiece that sheds light on a band that has nothing to do with your average MTV crap boybands
There is a lil' bit of everything in here.Crazy punk anthem like "Male di miele",or the slower "Voglio una pelle splendida",some piano playing or cello arrangements
I know its probably not a bargain but it will give you something that stands out along other more worldwide famous bands"
