"This is a great example of djembe and griot music from Burkina-Faso with the added virtue of not being commercial at all. I bought this second hand, listened a few times and then put it on my shelf for about year as a `representative` of the genre rather than for entertainment. I put it in again recently and realized I had wasted a year of good listening.
The back of the cd reads: `From Djembe to songs: Fram tradition to the modern age...Adama Drame, a modern griot, sings about his encounters, his travels and Africa, his continent. He is, {sic} accompanied by 15 musicians.`"
