""Games" is the prelude album to Acres latest release, the sensational "Pet Rocks." Tim Acres writing - introspective, witty and biting, along with his "radio friendly" voice plus the tight control of the band demonstrate on this disk what is yet to come. I rate "Games" 5 stars for 5 reasons: 1. This band rocks! 2. When they become superstars, you'll wish you had this one in your collection (and it is now a "limited edition." 3. Along with the newly released "Pet Rocks," it's an intelligent rock album like Tears for Fears' "Songs From the Big Chair", Dishwala's "Counting Blue Cars" and "Bringing Down the Horse" from the Wallflowers. 4. Art Thompson and Jen Lowe make up the tightest rock drum/percussion duo since Nigel Olsson and Ray Cooper. (Just ask "Modern Drummer" magazine!) 5. See #1. Buy this album!!!"
