Rich, technical, & soulful... musicians will appreciate this

"I have all their albums to date, except for their newest release (May 1998) and without a doubt in my mind, this is their best over all album. Especially when you read the liner notes do you appreciate the meaning behind the music, as well as the experience and creativity of these musicians. Truly, this album would be appreciated by all, but especially by musicians themselves. It's a pity we lost Nick Webb during the production of their latest album"

"This cd is balanced, highly listenable, and at moments, profoundly moving. There are also "lighten up" moments in it--moments of real musical wit (rare these days). Brilliant execution, of course, and compositionally solid but never dull. Much much better than most in its genre--whoever these people are (I confess I had never heard of them til this album) they are *terrific*."
