Fusion in music, which we hear so much about nowadays, is nothing new musette is a fusion between the country music carried by ?migr?s from the Massif Central (Auvergnois) to Paris, circa the 1880s. Many of these ?migr?s were caf? proprietors and coal-merchants rolled into one called bouguats. Italians looking for work also settled on the east side of Paris, around the Place de la Bastille, Montreuil and Charonne. This collection features 26 tracks that encompass the musette sound.
