Take the best bits of Bowie and Roxy Music, circa '74-'75, put someone who's listened to Jarvis Cocker in front of it all ... and you've got magic. There are only four tracks on this EP, but each one is perfect, as glam as a movie star with the complex touches that land him/her on the analyst's couch. But it goes way beyond any revival--anyone who can pull off a 10-minute song ("Inch Away from Heaven") and have you wishing it was 15 minutes longer is doing something right. --Chris Nickson
