A Classic, But Not Stereo as Promised

"I'm an Aaron Neville fanatic, and was excited by this beautifully packaged reissue of his Par-Lo album,
but the sticker on the CD said "Remastered in Stereo"
and it's in straight MONO. I know a stereo master exists,
as this original hit version of the song "Tell It Like It Is"
was released in stereo on a Rhino compilation a few years ago.
Still a great sounding classic!"

"Here's the original album that Aaron's signature song is derived and if you think it's the only hit on the album, you're dead wrong. I bought this CD strictly to have the original version of Tell It Like It Is and was pleasantly surprised to find out what a great album this was. The big plus with this edition besides the remastered sound, is the inclusion for the first time of information on the original sessions. Musicians that played on these sessions have been a mystery for years - finally someone had the smarts to do a little research and give the musicians their just due (which include Deacon John and Willie Tee for starters) This is THE VOICE's first solo album, now that it's done up right, what are you waiting for? This is a must have for any fan of New Orleans R&B."
