Product DescriptionAn intentionally humorous mini rock opera about a surfer who is uncool and dreams he goes to hell only to find there are no waves there. No Waves was the first album by Anti-M and it was supposed to be the only album. Produced by surfing buddies John Wardlaw and Ruston Slager along with Mark Rumer (programming) and Steve Weber (guitar) the concept was to write some cool songs, have some fun and a laugh and be done with it. But they enjoyed it so much they have continued to write and record music and have released 3 more albums. Positively Negative which featured guitar legend Ronnie Montrose as a guest musican, It H-Hurts the Instrumentals, an album of remixes including some soundtrack work they did for the dvd James Bond Spoof YOU ONLY DIE ONCE, and more recently the band released the album Damage, a more goth rock album influenced by such bands as Lacuna Coil, Collide, Evanescence, The gathering, Garbage and Within Temptation. No Waves in Hell is the starting point for this band and songs from this album and later projects can be heard on the DVD HAWAIIAN SURF STORIES, a collection of surfing films (see that title under amazon's dvd listings) made during the 90's). It appears at this point that Anti-M are planning to be around a while.
