My Favorite Song...

""3 Libras" by A Perfect Circle has to be my all time favorite song. The lyrics, Maynard's voice. The violin. The guitars. The meaning. The depth. The song is brilliant. This brings a tear to my eye. One of the most emotional songs ever...I would suggest the whole A Perfect Circle album but this song is amazing."
Hauntingly Poignant..........

"Though it is their most heart wrenching track, Perfect Circle decided NOT to include the Feel My Ice Dub (a.k.a "Danny Lohner") Remix of 3 Libras on their new 2001 winter tour. This is probably due to three reasons:1.) Lohner uses a lot of "stuttering-voice digitization" special effects in his latest remixes (NIN - where is everybody [Version], Perfect Circle - Judith [Remix], and Perfect Circle 3 Libras [Feel My Ice Dub]), which cannot be replicated live unless the "stuttering" part is played as background to the main singer. Playing a pre-recorded digitized voice during a live show is not only difficult and distracting, it would basically lose all of it's worth because it is background music that would get lost in the tidal wave of Maynard's beautiful, careening voice, the guitars of Billy, and the loud, thudding drums of Freese.2.) Since Lohner is no longer in the group, Perfect Circle may not wish to play tracks produced by someone who is not playing them live.3.) Concerts are all about tracks to shake the crowd ; this track would have made the crowd, if anything, cry. If you play music like that of TOOL and Perfect Circle, you don't NOT want to leave your audience floored at your live shows. If you get the opportunity, pick up this hauntingly-beautiful nihilistic gem of a single..."And the whole of the Law is 'Thy Will Be Done.'" -Aleister Crowley"
