If you're not familiar with Super Audio CD (SACD), however, you've no idea what a difference that makes. True, you have to invest in Sony SACD player and be sure you have a full 6 channel digital receiver. But the investment is well worth it. There is as much difference between ordinary stereo and full SACD as there was between 33 rpm records and CDs. No kidding! SACD is apparently hugely popular in Europe for classical recordings, but Sony has not done much to promote it here. Too bad there's no way to try it out without laying out a whole system, but read up on it and become convinced!"
