"I have followed 808 State for 9 years, ever since I discovered the Utd 90 disc. To this day, I am still impressed with 808's composition. They have succeeded in producing a unique sound in each and every hit they release which just shows off how incredibly talented they are. To 808 State I will forever be grateful for opening my mind to Drum & Bass (you won't find me without a D&B CD or two today!) and technotronicfunkadelicjunglebeattrancehiphipdancerockthehousedown music which has changed my world! Two outstanding, unmissable mixes

"Joyrider (Natural Mix) is simply the most joyous, beautiful dance(-ish) mix I have heard in as long as I can remember. Along with the long version of the Sasha & BT mix of Seal's I'm Alive and the Rollo & Sister Bliss mix of Simply Red's Fairground this is my favourite mix of all time.
Lopez (A Direct Neural Mix) is well named. A fantastic fantastic fantastic cooking, pumping beat. Superb.All the other tracks are reasonably good apart from the irritating Paradan (A Paranoid mix) - also well named - and Pump (A Mesmer Mix) which you have to be in the right mood for.If anyone needed proof that 808 State are the stand-out leaders in their field this is it. For the two cited tracks buy this CV. You will not be disappointed, not even with the few ordinary ones."
