CD ReviewsLove the guitar--so-o-o COOL! 09/14/2002 (4 out of 5 stars) "I've watched and heard John Merjave three times at different Beatlefests, and that guy can really play guitar.. he's the BEST. And lots of folks just stay in front and watch and video his hands the way they move on the guitar. It's cool how great he sings while playing really hard stuff. But you won't believe how he really gets into the music! His face shows how he goes somewhere else and the whole audience loves it and the band he's with gets better and better all the time. I wish I could play like that and feel it like that. I like his album and I want to hear more of him just playing and singing on a new CD. I'll close my eyes and see him playing in my head. I enjoyed Kevin on the CD too but I've never seen him in person. You ROCK, John!" Great variety rock and ballads with haunting words andmusic DEBBY BISCHOFF | NEW YORK, NEW YORK United States | 09/13/2002 (5 out of 5 stars) "Heard John Merjave at Beatlefest and subsequently local gigs in the N.Y.C. area.He is an extradorninary guitarist with a mellow golden voice.I jumped to buy the album because I couln't get enough of his music. The original songs show a depth that first albums usually don't. I disagree with the editorial review in the sense I did hear some Beatle stylings as well as Billy Joel.I've ordered the album for friends and family.I continue to bring as many people to see John Merjave in person and would love another c.d. by 27 West. Would love a solo album of John Merjave! Keep making music and I'll keep buying it."
