"This is a great compilation. This is an amazing testiment to ageless power of Tina Turners Talent. I would give this album 5 stars because of it's vast diversity. Showing all dimensions of the queen of rock. From Gut Buckett R&B,to Rauchy southern rock to gospel laden power ballads. This album has a little bit for everyone. The Rock lover, the blues lover, the Sappy tear jerkin ballad lover and all the differant styles of the vastly diverse R&B Genre. One of the key cuts (for me) was th Gospel-southern soul ballad "A love like yours" A truly passionate and rare recording for 2 reasons. The song demonstrates a tender kittenish side to the normally rough & gutsy Tina. 2- this is a rare recording and only available(to my knowledge) on this compilation album."

"This album is amazing. It shows a differant type of soul singer.
One who is throaty, gutsy and gravelly (most females follow in the tradtion of Aretha or Diana ross). Thisa album shows all of her dimensions. It show hers soft side on songs like
"Drift Away", her rock'n'roll raucousness on "Proud Mary" the grity gut buckett R&B "I idolise you" and the sexyness"I've been lovin you too long". The ballad "A love like yours" is a stand out. It shows not only her tender kittenish side, it shows her roots in gospel. One listen will send shivers up your spine and a tear to your eye. If you like true soul, raw, unrestrained, intense and spine chilling you will like this album. Her vocal stylings register close to those of Anne Peebles, Millie Jackson,Gladys Knight and even Mary J. Blige."
