"Okay, one bit of advice for Steve Sulikowski; change the "band" name, because there's already a much better known Irish group using practically the same name.
Anyway, if you enjoy stuff like CVS and Steve Bertrand, here's another CD of straight pop ballads. Which is death unless the songs are very well written and performed, but give Steve two for two, this is very nice music. "Back Again" is the headliner, but by no means does it overshadow the other songs, it's just hook city. Not perfect though, "Close Range" is pretty, but the chorus line isn't connected well enough and it's rushed. The lyrics on "Pretend", "now sugar, can't you see, ohhh honey"; uh, saccharine comes to mind, blecch.
But nevermind, this is his first CD, gaining experience, pain and maturity can only help, what you can't develop is the ability to write, and he's got that. Let's see where he goes with it a decade out."
