"It's been noted before that the 13th Floor Elevators have been known on several occasions to 'fake' a live lp by renting out a suitable sized space of an empty store, warehouse, etc. and to play a record by the band and have a crowd of people inside the room cheer on.Pretty sneaky,eh?I don't believe that 'Levitation' is the case at all.I think this CD may actually be a REAL live recording. As I turned my stereo system up to ten,I noticed the authentic sounding crowd between the tunes.'Levitation' was recorded at the La Maison Club in Houston sometime in 1966.You'll hear some of the best TFE tunes available such as "Roller Coaster","Fire Engine","You're Gonna Miss Me" and the fantastic "She Lives In A World Of Her Own".Only downside is the concert gets the last minute snipped off.Still,a very decent CD to own.Recommended."
