CD Reviews

Strong Male Vocalist

"Ever since Toby Keith first made his debut, his strong, sensual voice has struck a chord with country music fans the world over. In Dream Walkin', Toby displays his talent at ballads, his voice sinking to the far depths of your soul. The sadness in his voice is a testimony to the hardships he has faced throughout the years, and helps you connect on a personal level with the singer. This CD also puts on display his comedic side, with "Double Wide Paradise" and "I Don't Understand My Girlfriend"...which most of us men can surely all relate to. It's easy to see (or hear) why Toby continues climbing the charts with all his singles, and you'll gain a fuller appreciation for the spectrum he can accomplish by attaining this CD."
No "Dream Walkin'" for Toby in this one!

"It is the real thing! Toby has a great knack for telling stories in his songs and it shows in "Dream Walkin'", "She Ran Away With A Rodeo Clown" (TK's sense of humor is apparent in this one and "I Don't Understand My Girlfriend") and "Jacky Don Tucker". Then he turns right around and pulls at your heart strings with "Yet" and "Strangers Again". Personal favorite, it's tough but "We Were In Love" wins out! Keep singing Toby, that baritone voice of yours rocks!"
