(5 out of 5 stars)

"Motown was one of those rare labels with the spin off names within the label and the mastermind behind it all the Greatest Record Man ever Berry Gordy Jr. the man who helped change the course of R&B/Pop Music forever. these discs have a whose who of Modern music. Supremes, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye,Michael Jackson,etc... the top notch songwriting, trademark production and instrumentation are all here. Motown was very productive but also balanced it out with Quality which is a rare gift. Berry Gordy has ears knowing a Hit and this is a classic example of a box set that speaks directly to that and more.

no matter what the time period Motown Music is timeless and still sounds fresh to this very day and always will."
