The Case for Remasters

"Why fork over money for a CD you already own? Because you still own it after all these years! Buying a remastered album is a chance to rediscover your favorite music.
And, typically, the reissued stuff is at a value price. Buying Seal for $20-$25 is an exception. 95% of the people I know do not care about the difference in sound quality to buy it twice. I would not be surprised if Seal releasd this album again - without the DVD.
Briefly on all these DVDs/DualDiscs being packaged with CDs... Unless you are a huge audiophile, this is a waste of money. However, the sound in 5.1 Dolby is a difference experience compared to listening to two speakers. And here, 99.9% of people I know do not care.
It's your decision. If this is one of your favorite albums of the 1990s, I strongly recommend this remaster.
