"I thought this would be a lame collection of lame songs. But when I put it in, I was actually very suprised. It is pretty much all their ballads (I love their ballads), and some hard-rocking blues tracks. One track doesn't really fit(Good Love), but it is a powerfully cool song, so I was happy to have it. For a true collection of Poison, get Greatest Hits, but this is also extremely good."

"Everyone loves Poison...that's why they still tour, and sell records. However, for those of you who have NOT checked out Bret Michael's solo record, SONGS OF LIFE, you're missing out. Bret IS the songwriter in Poison..and you can hear that clearly on Songs of Life. As far as Poison compilation records go, 86-96 is a much better record."
Greatest hits 2

"Poison rocks.
This cd is the greatest hits 2, featuring tracks from every album except for the most recent 'Hollyweird' which is great however it had some of the same songs as the first greatest hits cd.
I believe it should've focused even more on the best tracks from the albums that came out after the first greatest hits : 'Crack a smile', 'Power to the people' and 'Hollyweird' and also the best hits from 'Native tongue' as there was only one song from that album on the first greatest hits. A combination of this album and the 'Rock champions' compilation would have been perfect."
Life Loves a Therapy????

"Other than the grossly mislabeled song on the CD (listen to the CD via Windows Media Player and the title of Life Loves a Tragedy is titled "Life Loves a Therapy") this album is beyond fantastic. You CANNOT go wrong with this CD. Poison is so much more than a rock-n-roll band, and it shows with this CD. Poison can any type of song (blues, ballad, whatever) and do it justice. Not many bands out there can do that."
