CD Reviews
Louis never sounded better!

"There is far too much "bad dixieland jazz" in the world, but here is one of the BEST examples of "Dixieland" the way it's spose to be! Louis never sounded any better and the Assuntos (Dukes of Dixieland) are as good as any back up band Louis ever had. These are many of the classics of New Orleans style Dixieland Jazz.... fun... exciting...blue... sassy and soulfull. This may be the best collection of New Orleans Style Dixieland Jazz ever recorded and with superios sound quality too! If you only have only have one Dixie set..... this is a good one. Every recording is a gem!"
Almost perfect!

"This multi-disc collection of Louis Armstrong and the Dukes of Dixieland is excellent. If it was not for a few repetitions, it would be perfect. The sound quality is top notch and the liner notes are quite good for a modestly priced set of CDs."

"No further comments; Louie and the Dukes of Dixieland is very known from the time of the Fifties they were recorded on Audio Fidelity label.
These CD productions does'nt hurt any aspect of memory of them, even, every track is completed!
