"I had to get this cd when it first came out. The single has the video edit of the track, an edited and extended Hex/Mac club mix which is really really good, the so so def remix which is of course jermaine dupri, the remix the basic j.d. type remix is a little slower than the orginal but still a fast song. It also has a velvet remix that is ok but is not the best remix on the cd."

"Going back to the song Ventura Highway, Janet's release off her All For You Album is simply wonderful. It's a happy, peppy, wonderful song that almost makes you smile just to hear it. This single import has a remix or two not included on the American release. If you like the song, then get the single, but you might as well get the All For You cd if you just want the original version (plus you get 19 other tracks)."
Summer With Miss Janet

"Even if I'm listening to this adorable song in Febuary, I feel like it's summer. This song (one of the highlights of the mostly disappointing ALL FOR YOU album) is Janet's best song since "That's the Way Loves Goes", in my opinion. Of the remixes, my fav is the So So Def remix."

"I must say when I heard the entire album, I was over all dissapointed. Unlike Ms. Jackson's previous recordings, this albuum is full of explict jibberish that...says nothing. The hold project seems rushed. Janet, dumped the explict stuff...it makes you appear as if you have nothing left to give and runing of out new material. I know sex sells but you have true beauty inside and out, which is much more marketable and pleasing...i'm waiting. However,"Someone to call my lover" is cute.

"Janet Jackson is back with yet another bound to be number one hit song and its called "Someone To Call my lover". This single has some of the best Janet Jackson remixes I have ever heard, I don't know if its because this track is easily remixable or if this song is genre friendly. With just these remixes Janet hits many genre's like pop, rap, R&B, dance and more.Track Listing:1.) Someone To Call My Lover (Single Edit) (4:14) = This is supposedly a single edit yet it sound exactly the same as the original version that we all love.2.) Someone To Call My Lover (Hex Hector/Mac Quayle Radio Mix) (3:49) = This remix is very dance like yet it still has values like that of the original and is and original in its own.3.) Someone To Call My Lover (So So Def Remix) (4:40) = This is the remix featuring Jermaine Dupri and samples a few songs to make this remix the hit that it is. This remix is radio friendly and leans more to the Rap/R&B side.4.) Someone To Call My Lover (Velvet Mix) (4:46) = Being that the remix is called "Velvet Mix" you may be thinking its supposed to sound like Janet's previous work on her last album "Velvet Rope" however, I don't believe this remix sound anything like any song from that album but yet I think this is a really good remix. 5.) Someone To Call My Lover (Hex Hector/Mac Quayle Club Mix) (7:48) = You may be thinking this remix sounds like that of track two however it is completely different and live up to any other club mix. This may be Janet's only track that is full blooded pop so you don't wanna miss out on it or any of the remixes. I recommend this single to any Janet fan or fan of the song because if you like the original you'll love the remixes. Don't leave Janet waiting for "Someone To Call Her Lover! Pick up this disc now!"
