CD Reviews

Music is supposed to be...
John D. Ryan | 09/28/2010
(2 out of 5 stars)

"... an escape from the real world. The last thing I am looking for in an album is politics. Its stuff like that I'm trying to get away from when I sit at home and listem to music. This is paired with the ultra whiny over-liberalism that makes your ears bleed (no I'm not conservative). It does not take bravery just to say the world is messed up. Watch this.... THE WORLD IS MESSED UP!!!! SOMETHING SHOULD PROBABLY BE DONE ABOUT IT!! Wow, I said it. Give me my grammy. The point is that this record accomplishes nothing. It will not win any new fans and most of their fans already agree with the message. They are breaking no new ground. Talk is cheap, and I don't want it in my music. There are a couple of old school sounding songs like song of the century and viva la gloria? that are catchy. beyond that, I was completely unimpressed."
