THE POWERLIGHT CONTINUES TO SHINE

"POWERLIGHT was the next step forward for an incredibly progressive Soul band that moved forward with each recording. That they choose to return back and express a heavy soul/R&B sound was a natural move for a band that was & still is well aware of its roots, while moving forward as my favortie track says 'at the speed of love'.

The closing song, 'Miracles' and the children singing out of tune should not be intrepreted as a mistake. I think it was great. Sometimes children tend to think the louder they sing, the better they sound. Obviously, EWF choose to leave it like it was and didn't think it was a big deal; so those who don't get it, get over it and enjoy this classic release from the greatest band that ever rose to fame.
