"Wow, I think some people are out there to criticize other reviewers rather than the artist. Just because I don't particularly enjoy Amanda's music does not mean I am an incompetent trumpeter who is blabbering about nonsense (I have been playing for 7 years).

I will admit that when I first wrote the review I had less experience to listening to many diverse styles of music and thus my review showed some bias. However, Amanda still does not compare to the trumpet greats such as Maurice André, Wynton Marsalis, Rafael Mendez, and certainly not Sergei Nakariakov. Her technique is brilliant, her tone is full; yet, she is lacking the effortless musicality that is inherent in these masters of the trumpet. I am in no way saying that I play better than her but what T.A. said "I think he can play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" shows how shallow and bitter she is to other critcism."

"While I enjoy this album and play it often as I love the selections I have to agree with reviewer "333".If you have listened to any of Alison Balsom recordings I think that one could see what "333" was referring too. I do think this album belongs in any serious trumpeters library. Before I get a "twinkle twinkle little star" comment I was a professional trumpeter for 10 years before I found other interest.Russ"
